Southern Air Command Commanders’ Conference held
Thiruvananthapuram, Chief of the Air Staff (CAS) Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria PVSM AVSM VM ADC has appreciated the efforts of Southern Air Command (SAC) in fast tracking numerous infrastructure initiatives and undertaking tasks of operational significance within its Area of Responsibility and expressed satisfaction at the swift operationalisation achieved by newly inducted assets particularly the LCA Tejas and Su-30 MKI squadrons.
ACM Bhadauria was addressing the Air Commanders at Southern Air Command Commanders’ Conference while his visit to Thiruvananthapuram on July 15 and 16.
The CAS re-iterated the need for Indian Air Force (IAF) to remain ever ready for fulfilling its operational mandate.
Earlier, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief (AOC-in-C), Southern Air Command., Air Marshal Manavendra Singh AVSM VrC VSM, AOC-in-C SAC received the CAS on his arrival and briefed him on the status of operational preparedness of the Command.
